"Rigged elections" new? Hardly. For example: Chicago is famous for its history of people voting from the grave and for helping President John F. Kennedy "steal" the 1960 election.
"Fake news". The MSM has been notorious for their 'fake news' output. But it is not "new".

I am called a leftist but I am not dangerous to anybody. For 17 years now I have been an elected public official .---very small but I have worked both physically and on the bureaucratic side to turn a system of goat trails consisting of less than a mile into very drivable streets. My fellow committee members are Republicans and we work together and support each other. Working together we have provided needed signage-installed culverts provided drainage and laid down thousands of yards of gravel . We are all volunteers working with a small budget and we have made a much better neighborhood. I have been honest and hard working and I have nothing to be ashamed of.
