I was staying at the Holiday Inn in Memphis in the 70's. It was a Sunday night and after the Ed Sullivan was over, there wasn't much on TV, so I went to a bar behind the Holiday Inn called Bad Bobs. I went in and ordered a beer and sat down at a table. There was only the bar tender at the bar and a young couple sitting at a table. I saw a guy walk in and started jumping on the piano that was on the other side of the room. I turned around to see what the bar tender was doing and he was just wiping down the bar and didn't seem to concerned. I finally realized that the guy jumping on the piano was Jerry Lee Lewis. He was only there for a couple of minutes and left. Several years later I was reading the Memphis Sunday news and there was a article about one Sunday night that Jerry Lee wanted to visit Elivs, but Elvis wouldn't let him in. I believe that Sunday night that I saw him in the bar was the same night.
