I don't know which polls that you are watching, but you are going to be disappointed in the Senate races also. It's too soon to predict 2024, but Newsom is the wrong gender a/o color for the D-rats to nominate in 2024 IMO. They may also have to go for a "moderate" candidate. Hillary has been hinting.

I'm from California and anyone who would put him in office hasn't been paying attention. Our gas prices are upwards of $6 in most places. Homeless have taken over city streets, it's not safe to walk in your neighborhood, car jacking/smashing and looting is a serious problem,. We have illegals here who we know nothing about except the ones that have been arrested and released back into our communities. The cost of college is ridiculous but the worse part is that when interviewed, the students are ignorant. Major companies leaving taking jobs with them. So much more!!
