This is a ruse. Most of the money, if not all, will be used to settle these lawless invaders in the USA.

Remember, that billion+ dollars is already on load from our dead National Deficit.
If Democratic party continues in the White House, you and I will pay high taxes to bring that Deficit down. The only things is, is that our higher paid taxes will go into Democratic Party pockets, as it has done all along- and bringing down our Dead National Deficit is just talk as it has been all along.

Mr President may I suggest you use all of the political contribution money you make from your Texas trip 1st then we will talk about emergency funding.

Like any of them will be repatriated to their home countries.

The solutions to ALL problems for the Dems is, are you ready, MORE MONEY!!! How do we get more money? Raise taxes! How's that workin' out for ya? It's time to abolish the IRS, impose a fair or flat tax, CLOSE our borders NOW, put constitutional conservatives in the Senate this fall and start promoting Dr. Ben Carson for President in '16!!! Now I would like to hear some rebuttle on these comments.

Call Congress and tell them we don't want one red cent spent on this until the border is secure and we have answers on what Obama is proposing to do with the ILLEGALS!!

Its time to annex Mexico. And then adopt their immigration attitude and policies.

Maybe the "O" wants them here because he just might be their father. As long as "O" takes care of them himself - and not with anyone else's money - let them all go to Washington, DC - absolutely nowhere else. Since "O"'s daughter will be making $600,000 a year (part time in Hollywood)- and she is only 15 years of age - she can support them also. The small man cannot earn $30,000 a year full time and "O"'s 15 year old will be bringing in $600,000 a year only doing part time work - what? playing games on the computer. Balooney!!!!!!!

You have no heart! They are children trying to save their own lives. Nicaragua, Belize and Costa Rica have taken in thousands more than have come here. These kids are refugees. Should Turkey have sent all the refugees from Syria back to be killed? And the president has said more than once that most of them will be sent back. But because the way the law is written, they have to have a hearing first. Also, we spend all kinds of time in the middle east trying to straighten out their crap. Maybe we should be trying to make the countries these kids came from safe enough that they would stay there.

Ginger I spent 4 years in Central America and no one is taking in anyone without the proof that they have the means to support themselves and contribute to the "San Jose Policeman's Ball". You cant tell me a thing about these kids. You give them a chicken and they will steal your pot to cook it in when your back is turned for a second.
Why do you think every home has bars on the doors and windows there?
You will make a very good useful idiot when they come to your neighborhood. You will lose everything you own.

This is a humanitarian crisis that defies simple answers. While you have a strong point that we should be assisting these cultural victims, it is the way things are unfolding that is the issue. We are not reaching out to help them, but rather we are seeing a porous border that cannot control who is coming into the country. If a few children can easily come into the country, don't you think a half-way clever terrorist can do the same? Some of these "children" are mid to late teenagers, many already affiliated with gangs. Are all suicide bombers over 18? Not by a stretch.

Word has leaked out about the secrecy surrounding the health issues brought in by these "children". This is a public health issue, but the government is shipping these kids all over the US, exposing the entire country to potential health risks.

The excuse is that many need to be re-patriated with their parents... where is CPS? Who leaves their children in the middle of a war zone and relocates to a safer environment for themselves?

Mexico has vast amounts of vacant land... why not set up shelters there? How are these kids getting through Mexico without being stopped - Mexico has very strict immigration policies.

No one, including this hard hearted conservative, want to see children suffer, but I can also tell when I am being hoodwinked. This administration is using the children to further its own social goals. The children are just pawns and a means to an end for them.

They are children being used as political tools. Regardless of how we feel these kids should be coddled, it is far more important to show those who perpetrated this fiasco that they cannot get away with it.
Send the kids home, close the border and shoot all who trespass onto U.S. soil.

All of them get a health screening BEFORE they are allowed to leave detention. They did interviews with the children, part of intake process. One out of three of the girls were raped while going through Mexico. ALL of their money, clothing, and food were taken. One out of five of the boys were sexually abused also. The youngest girl they talked to was eight. The youngest boy was ten.
