Real inflation now is 9.2 but feels more like 13% Our roads here in Michigan are finally getting fixed but only because Democrat Gov. Whitmer knows that she made it a campaign promise when she first assumed governorship 6 years ago. Now the Republican candidate to challenge her for her governorship is holding her to that promise.

In other words spending on worthy projects cannot occur. She wanted to waste it on frivolous projects.
