One of the tools Biden has is to put a freeze on exports of oil if the US industry is feeling a pinch due to what OPEC is doing. I can't believe this is even a thing, we are exporting oil and importing oil from Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and letting them jam us up on prices?

I understand energy independence to be that state at which we have the independence to tell OPEC to go screw themselves because we produce enough oil that we do not need to import any at usurious OPEC prices. We are there, but the government has taken a position whereby we let oil companies form whatever convoluted import export games they want to play in the interest of profits and making more money they want to.

Isn't OPEC supposed to be about standardized and stabilized prices, and here we have Kushner's friends weoponizing the price of oil to the US?

Oh, and Biden can inform the UAE and Saudi prince that they can forget military aid for their oil since we no longer give a damn about what happens to it...pull those troops back home or wherever they could be better used.

If Joe had not messed with the American Oil industry, to make his Global Warmer Masters happy, none of this happens. In the olden days, under Trump, a jump in the price of oil would have brought all kinds of investment into the American oil industry.

It's called capitalism. OPEC would be backing down because as they cut production American production would be going up. That ain't happening because Joe the F**k Up has made it clear that he wants to punish American Energy.

Correction, we WERE there. Your boy Biden fixed that. Our current production is about a million and a half barrels per day LESS than when your boy took office. This is one hundred percent due to Biden and his bullshit. He has kept the price artificially low with his criminal and treasonous misuse of the Strategic Oil Reserve. In six months he has depleted it more than presidents Carter, Reagan, HW Bush, Clinton, George W Bush, Obama and Trump COMBINED managed to do in 46 years.
