The wall was basically paid for , the material is lying on the ground where it has been since Joe took orifice . Is he now going to make some claim that mexico will help so they will re-start the wall ; if so that is nothing but a ploy to try to gain votes for the dems , just as he is doing with oil , using reserves to get the price down just before election time . As soon as election is over prices will go up up and away

The wall was hardly started.. the wall is dumb, the wall is not being built, Mexico is not paying for a wall, no payment was ever collected that would come anywhere close to paying for the wall.. the private "build the wall" groups were a scam and some are going to serve time..

Mexico is helping to pay for more security on the border. but not a wall..

as you can read, the wall became much more expensive and hard to pay for then projected when trump first started the attempt,... also a lot of graft..

THE TEXAS TRIBUNE-PROPUBLICA INVESTIGATIVE UNIT
Records show Trump’s border wall is costing taxpayers billions more than initial contracts
As the presidential election nears, a review of federal spending data found modifications to contracts have increased the price of the border wall by billions, costing about five times more per mile than it did under previous administrations.

BY PERLA TREVIZO AND JEREMY SCHWARTZ, THE TEXAS TRIBUNE AND PROPUBLICA OCT. 27, 2020

On the same day in May 2019, the Army Corps of Engineers awarded a pair of contracts worth $788 million to replace 83 miles of fence along the southwest border.

The projects were slated to be completed in January 2020, the Corps said then. Four months into this year, however, the government increased the value of the contracts by more than $1 billion, without the benefit of competitive bidding designed to keep costs low to taxpayers.

Within a year of the initial award, the value of the two contracts had more than tripled, to over $3 billion, even though the length of the fence the companies were building had only grown by 62%, to 135 miles. The money is coming from military counter-narcotics funding.

Not a solution. They’d still be here. If we can’t stop them; round them up, lock them up and send them back from where they came.

Then the next thing you do is you go around to all the sanctuary cities and you arrest the leadership from the governor on down who is not upholding and protecting the Constitution against enemies foreign and domestic! Once you put these people in prison and they can see they can actually go to jail for I guarantee you the people that come in this country will be out of here so fast it will make your head spin! It's literally going to take one of these Governors going to jail before anything ever gets done I think we should start with the Department of Homeland Security director we should arrest him for not doing his fucking job! Here's what Congress needs to do they need to pass a law that if any sanctuaries City allows illegal aliens in their cities and if those illegal aliens commit crimes against other American citizens especially murder than those City councils and the governor may be brought up on murder charges because they were complicit with the whole thing! Leave them no wiggle room! It's time to go scorched Earth on these folks!#no quarters for Democrats!

We don’t need anymore laws. Enforce the current laws. Problem solved.

Dems only enforce the current laws when it is advantageous for them.

I do think that all states should share in accepting immigrants. I do object to Texas dumping immigrants at various sites without warning. Texans gets a heads up as there is a border. A simple phone call is nust a humane thing to do. Otherwise, it's just trafficking people.

They simply followed the example set by your supreme leader Biden and believed the leaders of sanctuary cities and states. It must be the right thing to do. How can it not be?

They are not immigrants they are illegals. They get a heads up because there is a border? There is NO border. The humane thing to do? Drugs, guns, terrorists, gang members, rapists and murderers are coming across. If you are so worried about the humane thing to do why don't you volunteer to take some into your home?
