https://www.deseret.com/2022/8/22/23309244/cole-summers-died-newcastle-utah-warren-buffett-charlie-munger-bari-weiss-unschooledA remarkable story. Sent to me by a friend.
Today, I happened across this quite by accident in an email from 1440, a new news source. This originally appeared in the Deseret News, a local newspaper in Salt Lake City, UT
If this does not bring tears to your eyes. and put a lump in your heart, I don't know what will.
Dealing with heartbreak and tragedy is something most of us have had to face at one time or another --some to a greater degree than others. When each of us has to face it, the reality is that it is personal, and sometimes we forget how fortunate we really are in spite of our pain and suffering.
This is a story that makes me say, "WHY God? I don't understand."
As we know, life certainly is not fair. But how can a child rise above all the hardships that Kevin rose above and persevere as he did?
Where is the adulation for people like Kevin vs the rampant demagoguery that has become so pervasive in America today when a worthless felon like George Floyd is honored and memorialized and America's false "leaders" turn out to be despicable self-serving scumbags who are intent on destroying America for their own gains? Have we COMPLETELY lost our way? Is the America we once knew and loved gone forever?
Those like Kevin Cooper provide a ray of hope ...and then it is suddenly snatched away.
Perhaps we should take a moment to bow our heads and give thanks for our blessings ...and pray for the future of America and more people like Kevin Cooper.
IF this touches your heart, please share it.

If he had lived he could have been another Warren Buffet! So sad.
Kevin was a brilliant, caring, loving young man. It is totally amazing what he was able to accomplish at such a young age. It's really sad that he was taken away from his family that really needed his care. Thank you for sharing this heart warming story.

It was my pleasure and it was amazing what this lad accomplished in his short life.
What a wonderful young man. He did more with his 14 years than most people do in a long lifetime. I hope his parents adjust well.
