On March 31, 2022, the Department of Energy announced an immediate release of one million barrels per day for six months from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve that was to be coordinated with international allies and partners. The six months was orginally expected to end in September, but the July DOE announcement mentioned above indicates the releases will go through the end of October, placing oil supply from the emergency reserve on the market right up until the mid-term election. So the reprieve of high price gasoline will be short-lived as the U.S. emergency reserve is being depleted, particularly of high-quality oil.

Yes, by releasing our strategic reserves the idiots have increased supply just as demand goes down. The free market would have brought the price down with out putting our reserves at risk. All about the midterms.

Inflation is not going down....the only thing that has gone down by a few cents is gas....and I believe that is because less people are driving - going on vacations, etc. - due to the high prices of gas and therefore the demand has gone down.
And the proof, imo, is that nothing else has gone down. In fact food, clothing, prescription drugs, home goods and just about everything else are continuing to go UP!
If the Rats are trying to show us that things are going to be okay because gas has gone down by 50 cents (after going up over three dollars), they underestimate our ability to see what's
really going on!!

IE, we were never at a point that we did not import oil.. just for one.. constitutional government.. WHAT , that foul vile POS , the worst thing that ever soled the oval, he has no idea what the constitution is nor what it is about.. he never did a thing for most Americans,, Putin got more from trump then any middle class American ever did, even on a temporary basis..
One last point, i have things I would rather do.. removing from welfare.. consider if you can, kicked off or moved off????? A huge difference.. can you name it??
