I picked an issue and am working with and supporting Liz Warren in her effort to bring at least some of the crooks in banking to justice and to pass legislation to prevent theft by the bankers in the future. This legislation will look a lot like the law that successfully protected the people from the bankers after the last depression until it was repealed a few years ago, along with a few improvements and updates. We should all work together to get this passed and break up the too big to fail banks.

Sorry about getting back to you so late had to work. I guess you only read into my post what you wanted to and not what I said. First everybody on the jobs I work are LEGAL to work and have all the paperwork, gone thru background checks. Insulators, scaffold and civil average around $15 an hour which most would say is a living wage but if you take into account it's a temporary no benifits job that requires travel it's not that great. Up north were unions still have a little stroke left their benifit package would be twice that. I don't do residential constuction, but know people who are contractors in that field. I'm glad to hear you're doing well in your corner of the world. But in the big city things are little different, at a 175 million this is not really a large project but has been hard to man with quaified people as is the case with all projects around this area. I'm all for locking down the border and controling illegal immigration. Moving our military to the border seems like a no brainer but no congressman is going to give up a base in his district and the money it brings in. Most illegals came on a visa and never left so were is the accountability?

The vast majority of 50,000 unaccompanied youths and children who have illegally crossed the Texas border during the last few months have been successfully delivered by federal agencies to their relatives living in the United States, according to a New York Times article.

A second New York Times article reports revealed that officials have caught an additional 240,000 Central American migrants since April, and are transporting many of them to their destinations throughout the United States.

The deluge of 290,000 illegals — so far — are exploiting legal loopholes that allow them to get temporary permits to stay in the United States.

Perhaps you could provide me with a link about the 240,000 since april all I could find was DACA visas that were approved but that was for immigrants that were brought here before the age of 16 as of last year.

These people are qualified as refugees and the law says we have to treat them in a particular way. As much as I know it will hurt you to learn Obama didn't write this law and you can be damned sure the law wasn't passed since he came into office because no laws are passed by this congress. Unfortunately I understand that Obama is asking congress to amend the law to make it easier to send these people back.

They are mostly refugees from Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala where killing and rape has become so prevalent that people are sending their children a thousand miles or more to a place they think they will be safe. I guess they didn't recon on people with no heart like you.
