Seriously, do you actually think the republicans wanna starve school kids?
I'm wondering why over the last 6 months or so, the store shelves are looking pretty empty,
one store had to request an emergency supply of eggs. One box of 24 cartons arrived
and were priced at $5.89 per carton.
the supply trucks coming in here are only half full,
the entire over-the-counter medicine and first aid supply shelves at a major supermarket here
are empty and have been for weeks - no aspirin, no Tylenol, no Pepto, no bandaids.
Trains are coming through here pulling strings of empty cars,
7 times RR engines have broken down and the trains blocked an entire track for up to a week
waiting for parts, and this forced the RR to reschedule the trains.
This never happened before.
Fuel is another problem, not just for cars, but for railroads and airlines.
Increases in the price of diesel and jet fuel have forced trucking companies, railroads and airlines to cut their fuel budgets which in turn forced them to cut staff.
Staff cuts at airports have resulted in chaos and confusion, delays and cancellations are stranding passengers for days. And, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
American citizens are not getting the food and other necessities they need,
and since Republicans do not control the WH or either house of congress,
who is responsible for this?
And you have no clue why they did that, do you? br... (
