The phrase just looked funny to me, at first glance. Ok, so when there's mutually consenting incest, and a pregnancy results from it, then, it seems to me, that's similar to any situation where irresponsible sex resulted in a pregnancy. Let's say it's an "unwanted pregnancy". Next, an abortion may or may not occur, but there's an underlying problem which is the irresponsible sex that resulted in an unwanted pregnancy.

For me, in what happens in my life, the issue of abortion is very closedly related to the issue of severe birth defects.

But apparently irresponsible sex resulting in unwanted pregnancies _is_ a problem in many people's lives. How should that be addressed? I think, probably it should be addressed by better birth control, such as (but not limited to) condoms, "the pill", and good education about sex (and if all that isn't enough, then (maybe) early arranged marriages). Then abortions would not happen as often. And when an abortion more rarely _does_ happen, it should be viewed as a more severe and traumatizing form of birth control, not as "murdering a baby", because a baby is what's already been born, and not the same thing as (a) a fetus, (b) an embryo, (c) a zygote, (d) a sperm cell, (e) an egg, (f) a womb, (g) falling in love, or (h) being infatuated with a person of the opposite sex. Every one of these things is significantly different from every other one on the list (except that (g) and (h) are similar -- I had been trying to distinguish between the different kinds of "love"), and significantly different from a baby.

I doubt that. Airforceone had written: "I am so sorry if I offended her I try to respect Proud Republican but she can except when someone like me respectfully disagrees. I have a hard time with her saying she thinks a women should carry a bony full term in the case of incest." I can imagine myself writing some of that, and being sincere, so it's easy for me to imagine Airforceone being similarly sincere.

I think his spell-checker may have mixed it up a little but I get the general trend of it.

And what if he is insincere or a "liar"; even then we're probably as well off to just assume he's sincere and just focus on what his posts say.

People think I'm gullible. But, while I treat people as though they were sincere, at the same time I know that they may not be. It shouldn't really matter much whether they think I'm gullible or savvy, and I don't want to play such games. As long as I'm not giving them money or risking something, there's no harm done in it. And sometimes they really ARE sincere.

You're fairly new to OPP, so you don't know AF1 like most of us do.. I've been here since 2017 and he's been nothing but really nasty to me...just because I support Trump's policies... I don't support his personality, but I felt safer and had more money in my account under President Trump... Airforceone called me and people who support Trump racists, murderes, and personally for me he called my son that he was born because of incest... I can take him insulting me, but when it comes to my family all gloves are off... I don't care if you like him, I'm just telling you be careful.. He's not what you think he is..

keepup, As a former teacher of seriously disturbed kids, I once had a student that was the product, and victim of incestual rape. She was blind, in a wheel chair, albino, and had many other problems. Even young girls have to carry their rapists fetus.
A young girl that was the victim of rape has been refused of her right to have an abortion because she is too young to make that decision. Imagine that! too young to make that decision, but old enough to raise a child. How does that make any sense?
My faith makes the life of the mother more important than that of a fetus.
