Thanks for the response. As I mentioned party platforms change and I gave the reasons for that change. No different now than it’s ever been. The Democrat Party platform has changed as much if not more in the past few decades. Platforms are dynamic for the reasons I mentioned. Both parties brand themselves. If the brand doesn’t sell, the party is short lived. You obviously disagree with the Republican Party rebranding. I understand that. There’s obviously a large portion of the population that disagrees with you. Politics as usual. As far as representation is concerned; the Founders were clear and sound in their reasoning when establishing the Republic and the election of our representatives and the number. You may disagree with that as well, it’s your right.

While I do agree .
Here are a couple more things about party platforms. Since 1980 the right has been on a quest to drag the center more to the right.
The Koch’s gave Reagan a pile of money to start instituting their libertarian platforms.
This has continued for over 40 years.
They did it. To be a moderate today means you’re standing on ground previously occupied by the right. The more right they go , the more the left moves away from the center to more to the right.
So , today we two party’s who have moved the goal posts away from where we were.
The Left taken a progressive program to maintain their ideals. Not so much because they are progressive but because the moderates are so far right.
The progressives are merely the same place the party was before it all got moved.
The right , however has only continued its quest to go more right. Hence , the Hitler and Nazi inferences.
The right is against union organizing, fair wages , womens rights , democracy , I can go on and on, but you know.
I’ll ask you , aside from taking power away from the people , favoring rich and powerful and corporations as in Citizens United
What is the right trying to accomplish ?
Please do not allude to patriotic intent , that bus left.
What does the so called Republican Party want ???
What is in their platform?
And of course , where do youz fit into it ?
