White House Goes After Navy SEAL Who Wrote Book About Bin Laden Raid

(Daily Caller) The White House wants to seize all royalties made from the publication No Easy Day, Mark Owens memoir about the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden.
Mark Owen, whose real name is Matt Bissonnette, is a former Navy SEAL who participated in the mission. He published his memoir in September 2012, less than a year and a half after the raid. It quickly topped the best-seller listsand provoked the ire of Pentagon officials.

The department continues to assert forcefully that Mark Owen breached his legal obligations by publishing the book without pre-publication review and clearance, one Pentagon spokesman said. Settlement negotiations continue with an intent to pursue litigation if talks break down.
The Pentagons announcement today likely indicates that negotiations with Owen arent going well, and suggests that their lawyers may be preparing a civil suit to get the money. While Owen had intended to give all proceeds to charities supporting Navy SEALs, controversy surrounding the book prompted several to refuse his donations.
We have agreed with the government that Owen would not distribute any of the proceeds of the book pending our settlement discussions, said Owens lawyer. That means that he has not touched any of the funds for any purpose.

A few things on this article...
One. Any person that is a SEAL, remains a SEAL.
Two. Giving the facts that we have a President and a "open media outlet" in the means of a White House/Obama Press Secretary, and that Obama himself has taken to the media, the very names and the mission itself, regarding SEAL team members, there should be no negative issues regarding the publication of the book and story behind it.
The White House tells so much of what the Military is doing, it is pathetic. At one time...."loose lips sink ships" was the American Motto for the Military....but now it is "Hey, it's me....your current President, and I wanna tell you what we are all up to, because I like being in the limelight".......
SCREW OBAMA and anyone against the truth being told.

Obama let it go. Its not like the mission was top secret. Obama had a special report about it minuets after they confirmed that"jeronamo was ekia(enemy killed in action)"

About those loose lips, the big flapping lips of Obama got a bunch of SEALS killed in an ambush which was planned by Obama as payback for killing his buddy Bin Laden.
The proceeds are being given to charity so what's wrong with that.
I think Obama should just challenge our SEAL to a fight and then we wouldn't have an Obama problems with his sissy ass.
