About that oil shortage...

Good news! The only oil company that bought a lease to drill in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge early last year has canceled its lease.
“This is positive news for the climate and the human rights of Indigenous people whose survival depends on a healthy, thriving calving ground for the Porcupine Caribou Herd, and further proves that the oil industry recognizes drilling on sacred lands is bad business.”

Wow! There are approximately 300 people living in the ANWAR…..on approximately 19 MILLION ACRES.

Are you absolutely positive “drilling” up there is going to impact the environment? Really?

How about you BIOYA!

Perma, did you spend a lot of time up there and permanently froze your brain? Is that why you picked that name?

Apparently so, because you failed to see the videos of vast herds of Caribou that are attracted to an existing pipeline because it provides them a bit of shelter in a very harsh land.

LOL,,,, which was there first, the Caribou or the pipeline?? But it is nice to think caribou can use it for shelter..

My handle had sort of a complicated process.. has to do with gardening and a likeable nephew from the west coast..

I have explained it several times.. but not that interesting and I do not feel like going over the process at this point in time.

It is cheaper to cancel than to spend years in litigation. Good buisness mans focusing on what is doable not on something that might be.

Likely drilling in ANWR would not impact negatively the Native People or the Caribou, but you wouldn't know anything about that, eh ?

Beautiful Mountains with falling waterfalls, rivers abound with birds, otters, caribou nibbling on the lush ground cover....
Same lies that were pushed 25 years ago. Until someone actually posted a study of the land and wildlife. It is as barron as the Sarah Desert and no wildlife, not even s bird in sight and Caribou never live there, because there is no food..completely waste land.
Google live earth to view the waste land eco freaks have been lying about, showing pictures of beautiful Alaska and Artic but only problem, the pictures are taken over a thousand miles away.
Take your bleeding heart lies somewhere else of protecting the indigenous people's, there are no indigenous people living anywhere around there.

Common man, you can lie better than that.
