Fox News’ decision to skip live news coverage of Thursday’s unprecedented primetime congressional hearing on the Jan. 6 Capitol attacks looks to have lifted viewership for the top-rated primetime news network compared to the week prior.

From 8-10 p.m. ET Thursday, Fox News averaged 2.9 million viewers, topping CNN (2.6 million) in total viewers, according to early Nielsen media research numbers provided to TheWrap. This marks a 7% jump from last Thursday when the networked earned 2.7 million viewers in primetime. From 8-11 p.m. ET, Fox News averaged 2.8 million viewers.

Funny comment, was it on purpose or just "fat fingers" like me?

This "Jan 6th," is a total B.S. The person who killed the Air Force lady should be arrested and brought to trial. Her death is the only important horror of that day that needs to be addressed.

Really? Wanna explain what's wrong?

Ashli Babbitt served our country honorably, under no circumstances did she deserve to be shot and killed.
She was unarmed and presented no real threat to the cop that killed her.
What have you done in your miserable life to serve our country and the American people?

I thought you might be able to enlighten us as to the evidence against Trump regarding the insurrection. I guess not.

As for Canuckus, we are all wondering where he has gone. Perhaps a break, perhaps busy (he is working on a new degree), perhaps China put him in OPP jail!

As for Ukraine, Russia appears to be making headway, despite the aid from the US. They will have the donbas AND Crimea out right soon enough, as the people of those regions wished. Zelensky has a lot to answer for given that he could have negotiated with Putin over the years leading up to this Ukraine fiasco.

I, myself, have been traveling and been a bit too busy to entertain comments from the likes of you for a while.

What part of the law is it I am unfamiliar with and what is the evidence, under the law, against Trump. We have been hearing about irefutable evidence against Trump for nearly six years now. Still waiting.

I talk to several people in Ukraine, and they are against being part of Russia. According to them it is only a small number and not even a majority of the Russian speaking people in Donbass that want to be part of Russia.

She was engaged in breaking and entering the Capitol. The cop fired in response and she just happened to be in the wrong place. Unfortunate, but understandable and justified.

Hold on a sec. An indictment?

An indictment is a written accusation charging that an individual named therein has committed an act or admitted to something that is punishable by law. An indictment is found and presented by a Grand Jury legally convened and sworn. It originates with a prosecutor and is issued by the grand jury against an individual who is charged with a crime.

Congress has no power to conduct a criminal investigation.
A congressional committee is not a grand jury.
Senators and reps are legislators, not prosecutors or judges.

They, Schiff and others, believe that are going to get an indictment.

In 2014 both the donbas people and the people of Crimea had a vote. The results were to be independent of Ukraine. It was the second time Crimea had voted to be separate from Ukraine.

We will keep that in mind the next time a cop shoots a guy resisting arrest, trying to get the cops gun, or is charging the cop, or reaching when told not to.

So what if the people of Montana vote to join Canada? Same thing?

There’s a process for that in our country. Follow the process.

The vote was taken after Russia seized Crimea and backed separatist rebels in some areas of Luhansk and Donesk oblasts in the Donbas region. The votes were not considered legitimate.

What does that have to do with anything?

One wonders about the legitimacy of a vote AFTER the Russians had seized the territory.
