After listening to the Jan 6 Committee, it looks like Donald Trump is going on a long vacation at federal expense. The evidence against him is more than compelling, it is overwhelming. There are some questions that still need to be answered. What politicians requested pardons. Nobody requests a pardon unless they did something criminal.
The only way Trump and his cronies can avoid prison is if the DOJ believes that putting Trump in prison is dangerous because it may be a dangerous precedent whereby a POTUS can be tried by political enemies. I think a more dangerous precedent would be not to prosecute a President for committing a crime. It would be seen as one kind of justice for ordinary citizens and another kind of justice for the wealthy and well connected.

The protest on Jan 6th was not an attempt overthrow an election,

Union Pacific, for example, has had its fuel supply cut by 10%.
(I've seen trains coming through here, one engine pulling, one pushing,
100s of empty box cars and flat cars without a container in sight.
That's never happened before.)
The morale of our defunded police is the lowest its ever been,
In many places, police retirements and resignations have soared.
In large metropolitan cities, violent crimes are surging (40% in NYC),
our military is the weakest its ever been,
under FJB, military morale is sinking faster than the Titanic,
Our military’s civilian leadership is corrupt and incompetent.
The Pentagon brass commands respect neither among the citizenry nor the forces it commands.
Mid-level officers are in a rage — a dangerous phenomenon that in many other nations triggers insurrections and coups.
Biden's foreign policies are unmitigated disasters,
Our military, our police, our foreign allies and 2/3rds of the American people DO NOT TRUST
the demented old fool polluting our White House.

The "fundamental transformation of the United States of America" is running at full throttle,
and there is no way president Trump is responsible for any of this.
But, to hell with the Constitution, the rule of law,

To complain so vociferously about Trump and the condition of our Country under him and what we had, while giving a pass to the insane crap that Biden and his puppeteers have given us is just more than I can fathom.
