They never pass up a chance to show their ignorance.....

Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., bragged about being able to bypass gas stations while driving her electric vehicle from her home state to Washington D.C. ""And so I’m looking forward to the opportunity for us to move to vehicles that aren’t going to be dependent on the whims of the oil companies".

On the same day it was announced that the mid-west may experience rolling "brown-outs" this summer and one of the electric companies here in Indiana, said it is asking for a rate hike.....

She represents Michigan. Ford is building a huge electric and autonomous vehicle facility in Detroit. And General Motors has done the same in the Detroit-Hamtramck plant. This is the near and long term future of vehicles as determined by the industry itself and she is supporting it and it’s workers. Biden is accelerating solar wind and battery infrastructure. This is coming and it is silly not to accept it.

Most people drive a few miles a day and don’t make long drives often. There are charging stations all over for those who do. My thought is that plug in hybrids are the best option for people who routinely drive long distances. There is big demand for electric vehicles. The electric F150 Ford truck is backordered a year and a half.
