Im sure many if not all of the more conservative members here on OPP have either stated this very hypocritical stance by the progressives or have at least thought about this. Why is it that our so called peoples representatives get to have armed security but our schools where our future depends on do not? Is it that they have forgotten who pays their salaries, or is it that they really do not give a good damn about our kids? Gun free zones are such a stupid and dangerous policy put into place that I can honestly think of. I dont recall who made this policy whether democrat or republican as it really does not matter! It was as stupid and ignorant then as it is to tis very day.
