He is right about one thing... Parents should lock up the guns and if they don't if something terrible happens like what happened in Uvalde, parents also should be responsible for the deaths of innocent...

If I had children my guns would be locked up except the one I carry. As the children got older they would be trained how to use and respect them.

I grew up in a home where rifles were in full view as they hung on gun racks in the living room. A glass front 2 door gun cabinet stood in the corner of the den, pistols laid on top of my dad's dresser in the bedroom, and I drove a pick up truck with a shotgun and a rifle hanging in the rear window 24 hours a day.
These were prized possessions, and are worth a small fortune to gun collectors today. I raised 2 boys and one girl the exact same way after marriage in 1974.
It was in 1988 when I started buying gun safes because my collection grew to large, and home break-ins became a big, big problem. No problems occurred in my neighborhood. LUCKY I GUESS.
Today things are completely out of control, so I can see your point 👉. But I will never agree with Lawsuits against Gun Manufacturers! However I can agree with your other points.
I now carry a gun with me legally every time I leave the house. I can guarantee you that if you moved around the city at night for 2 months straight that you will either see, or be involved in an incident of a crime. So fully funded, and I mean FULLY FUNDED Police Departments are an absolute must in every City and every State.

Also it used to be that any crime committed by a perpetrator carring a gun was automatically a felony. Not true today. That stopped alot of shit.

Yes. That is the flip side of Biden's Agenda. Actually we do have enough gun laws in force today. Red Flag Law'--- No WAY! And Biden Knows It.

Even if the idiot democrats got their way there’s a possibility school shootings, which are minuscule compared to the number of homicides could decrease. 1007 have been shot and wounded,
for a total of 1238 people shot in Chicago this year.
77.5% of the victims were black, 16.9% Hispanic, and 5.6% white/other.
This is ongoing, happens every day of the week in Chitown.
The tracker says a person is shot every 2 minutes and 57 seconds, and
a person is murdered every 14 minutes and 8 seconds.
In spite of the severely restrictive gun control laws, both state and city,
the neighborhoods where most of the shootings occur are not by any stretch gun free zones.
Numbers vary depending on the researchers, but since 1982, between 1350 and 1400 people have been killed in mass shootings, that includes schools. 1400 killed over a period of 40 years averages at 35 victims per year.
And, it is the mass shootings in predominantly gun free zones that sets the left's anti-gun hair on fire.
