Since your side has no problemo with the Biden Administration's non enforcement of US Immigration Law, this non enforcement of another law is just another pick and choose selective enforcement of the law that Democrats are infamous for.

Russian did not do anywhere near as well under Trump as it did under Obama and Biden. Under Donald J., Russia di-int take any parts of Ukraine. Under Donald J. the World Price of Petroleum was very low, which severely hurt Russia.

It is not a matter of the law supporting their arrest but of the willingness of the officials to enforce the law. Citizens of both political parties should be demanding that the laws be enforced and those people arrested.

Hope springs eternal!! Surely, when we see greater numbers of Republicans in leadership roles they will experience some strength in numbers and grow a pair. If we do not begin to enforce the rule of law and hold people accountable for their actions soon, it will be too late to turn this country around. We only get so many chances to right the wrongs we have allowed to happen.
