Let's see, by your words I suppose you believe in ventilators also? What if I told you one killed a brother of a former OPPer? You see with CV-19 your lungs are already compromised. A ventilator forces air into them and they can't handle it. What did I do? Ativan calmed them and I breathed normally.
Nope not a fan of ventilators. COVID lungs require high levels of both pressure and oxygen. Sedation helps but ventilators in the cases of extreme COVID are used as a last resort and are not that effective because usually the lungs are too damaged for any success. I truly believe when this unknown virus hit at first the medical profession had never seen anything like it and were using techniques and treatments they knew to combat it like a normal pneumonia. Now with vaccines, medicines and a better understanding they are better equipped to handle it in most cases. The fact the virus is mutating down is also a positive as it is still dangerous but much less deadly. Jmo
