Can't speak for her but she probably is referring to ties being o.k.all the flopping and fake injuries. I personally can't stand soccer but each too his own.

Ann Coulter finds soccer a sign of moral decay but it is better found in the Republican embrace and pushing of an atheistic philosophy, Randian Libertarianism, that is clearly a moral decay from and attack on our Christian roots.

You are correct. This was deliberate. She needs headlines to continue to sell books and "stay relevant." Her sub-text and innuendo trash a sport favored by foreigners...as opposed to our highly rated, and moral sports entertainment like cage match fighting and watching car crashes at speedways. That's the America she is trying to protect from moral decay. Those are the folks who buy her stuff.
But the clock is ticking. The party is soon over and in 10 - 20 years this angry political hybrid will mimic the John Birch Society in its rise...and ultimate crash.
