Is it ok for a Supreme Court Nominee to lie in order to get appointed? Should they be removed?

You mean they acted just like the Black Panthers and BLM? Hmmm.

BS!! Oath Keepets, Proud Boys and whatever ilk of white supremacists that exist tend to be Trump supporters.

And leftwing violent lunatics tend to be Democrats. So what is your point? Both ideologies have extremists that do not reflect the majority, yet both parties seem to focus on the other's extremists.
The difference is that the Republicans have not mainstreamed their extremists, and the left have. In order to defend that, the left has now declared that anyone who is not PRO abortion is an RW extremist, and so is anyone who is not violently anti racist, and anyone who is not violently pro LBGTQ. In the left's lexicon, the country is divided thus:
/...Left Wing extremists......Main Stream.....Dividing Point..RINOs.............. ................right.................................. ...wing...............................................................extremists..........................................................................
............................................Trump and his supporters.../

Shall we bring up McConnell? He said his lob in 2008 was to make Obama a 1 term president. I wasn't particularly happy with him, nor am I particularly happy with Biden. However, I loathed Trump and his tramping on the Constitution, too. Emoluments Clause immediately to mind.

Little words here: The nature of politics, especially with two major parties, is conflict. So get over it. The Democrats have turned political conflict into violent personal attacks against ALL enemy leaders and their supporters. Read some history, it has actually been worse than it is now, but the country is larger, and supposedly more civilized. How many Democrats were at Trump's inauguration, hmmmmm? And at that point he had done NOTHING that the left disagreed with......just words and speeches. So don't say that the incivility started with Trump. It did not.
As to loathing Trump, you could have just stopped there, because your TDS is the root of every accusation and emotion you are feeling, and completely obscures the truth. Trampling the Constitution? How? Credible evidence, or just personal opinions like the rest of the left?

As for the Emoluments Clause, I think you are jumping the gun. It hasn't yet been proven that Joe Biden took part of the $30 million when he was either VP or President.....just during the four years in between. Innocent until proven guilty.

That is quite a laundry list of fears. If you are mainstream conservative and Republicans gain unchallengeable power this can all be fixed?

How do you know that they were Proud Boys and not Antifa? Antifa doesn't like conservatives and show up at BLM protests. Antifa even breaks up a Christian prayer rally in Portland.

Antifa shows up at a Portland GOP rally. Make no mistake, Antifa are not only operating their chaos in the western states.

NO ONE! EVER! Should have unchallengeable power! That is what the Democrat leadership appears to be going for, and what very extreme left wing nut jobs accuse Trump of seeking.
The most basic tenant of conservatism is that governmental power should be limited, watched carefully by the citizens, and controlled by the citizens. If necessary, corrected by the citizens. Thus, the 2nd Amendment. And why it is VITALLY important that all elections be open, transparent, and honest. Election fraud, IMO, should be punished with prison time followed by loss of citizenship and expulsion from the United States.

That’s all the the Democrats have done for 5 years. Beat that Russian collusion crap. The Democrat Party is a full blown communist/ultra Socialist party. You have a President that lies about everything. ALL of the problems this country faces was caused by the old fool. If you don’t agree or can’t see it for yourself then you are a bigger fool than he is.

Both sides are afraid that the other side is vying for total control.

The there are some on the left that think republicans are rigging elections in a majority of the states.

The right feels as you do.

Both sides are afraid of loosing their freedoms.

I wish that were the case. If so, we might have a chance to work out compromises. But IMO this is a battle between the left who hate capitalism and want a big strong almost all powerful government to make everything in life 'fair'...according to their standards, and to protect them from 'big business'. That's YOUR corner.
In my corner is the conservatives who want a big strong government ONLY SO FAR as protecting our borders is concerned. The rest should be almost minimalist. Historically, loss of freedom almost always comes from a nation's own government.
Standing outside the ring is the low information majority of citizens who are trying to figure out which side is lying to them about their intentions and their leaders. Right now, a LOT of them are looking at their dwindling usable income, the lack of things on the shelves, the Ukraine war, and skyrocketing inflation and gas prices, and the fighters in YOUR corner are sweating.

Once again you give false information…You’re listening to pelosi and schummer who are the real liars….

From the justices themselves~~

"As nominees, those justices consistently avoided direct statements about Roe, including whether they'd vote to overturn it. Instead, they often commented on the importance of precedent and constitutional guarantees to privacy."

From the article.

They 'refused' to answer the question directly. Only saying that it was precedent. Lol, not lying directly, but by omission.

If you don't count the multiple times they were asked by numerous senators, you're right.

It's willful ignorance.

They liked his "tax breaks for the rich." And likely (some) preferred his xenophobia to our melting pot.

I LIKED my tax break, even though I'm not wealthy (just rich in life and in love and in happiness). What did you do with yours? You did not have to accept it, you know. Did you turn it back to the government that knows how to use your money so much better than you do? Did it do anyone any harm, or only help the citizens? Oh, wait a minute. I forgot. The left likes to pretend that the tax cuts in 2018 is causing Bidinflation in 2021 and 2022.
Forget I mentioned it.

I agree that no one should have unchallegeable power. In my opinion, this is what we are beginning to see with the judicial system and all the Federalist Society picks. The right says the liberal justice are activists but do not recognize that the same is happening now, only on their side. I hope that someday things can get "normalized", but I doubt that I will see it again in my lifetime.
Elections should be fair, open, transparent and honest. I haven't seen credible evidence that there existed fraud with a statistically significant impact. I have seen a lot of arm waving, insinuations and promises to make evidence available - but nothing to show for it. Regarding election fraud, shall we start with Mark Meadows? Loss of voting privileges is a reasonable punishment. Loss of citizenship and expulsion, I think, is extreme and should be reserved for seditionists.
