This is why you see the great civilizations of the past lying in ruin: subsidized reproduction of the under classes until they drag everyone under in a frenzy of violence, theft, and murder before they themselves starve because they’ve destroyed the system that once sustained them.

google does amaze me. I avoid them when possible, but sometimes, several times a week I look for information on the internet for public transit in Chicago. I usually know where I am going, but just need a time to leave so I can arrive in a timely manner. I go on the local Transit system web site. I type in street addresses and wait in amazement. Often I go to addresses along California street. Like Montrose and California. Then send me to Montrose, California. I tried North and Clark and got a random address on north Clark St. It is over ten miles long. They sent me to the ball park on Clark St at a different cross street, I missed that one and missed getting there on time. The latest really wacky one was to Throop St and Monroe St. They sent me by bus to Throop St and Monroe St, in Brooklyn N. Y. 29 hours away.

If they can't do any better then that with their algorithms for a local transit service, why would you ever trust them for anything else. There are better search engines. Use them. .
