Is it ok for a Supreme Court Nominee to lie in order to get appointed? Should they be removed?

Roe vs Wade be damned. It was always invented. It was crimes against humanity just as the Holocaust was. Made murderers of all taxpayers. I resented that, don’t know about you, but probably.

I disagree, RR. If you want an example of lying under oath, look at Biden taking his Oath of Office.

The Oath of Office is a joke on both sides of the aisle.

What, exactly, was settled?

It was settled law until THEY decided to unsettle it.
There is not a likely path to do anything except wait for them to resign, retire or bite the dust. And given the lack of appetite to hold anyone accountable, the lying under oath will probably not be an avenue either.

And given the lack of appetite to hold anyone accountable it is unlikely that the Union will hold. A republican Handmaidens utopia would be hell for the majority.

Same sex marriage, interracial marriage and prohibiting birth control are now republicans talking points.

It's obvious that several of them lied to get themselves appointed and passed.

Should we remove them for a breach of oral contract?

I would certainly fire an employee who lied to me to get the job. Wouldn't you?
If you have any hope of salvaging the vagaries and ambiguity in this accusation, you'll need to do a number of things.

* Name the SCOTUS appointees you accuse of lying,
* Explain the lies,
* Justify the vicious attempts at character assassination by democrat run committees,
* and, take into account the paradigm shift in American politics when the Covid pandemic struck,
and when FJB was escorted into the White House.
(Together, these two events caused a quantum leap in the political and cultural division in our country).

* Finally, convince us you have never told a lie.

Do that, or remain a cognitively dysfunctional troll.

FYI: Roe v Wade is a SCOTUS ruling, it is not a law passed by congress and signed by POTUS.

There are three way to overturn a SCOTUS decision.
* Congressional Statute (pass a law),
* Constitutional Amendment,
* or, SCOTUS. (Incidentally, SCOTUS has overturned over 200 of its own rulings.)
*Moreover, since congress has, in the past, changed, altered, repealed or replaced existing statutes,
there is no such thing as "settled law".

2 justices on the Supreme Court have interracial marriages: 1 conservative and 1 activist liberal. Not a talking point.
