You're 180 degrees away from what it really means. Yes they'll spy on us however, since the Patriot Act was passed they have had that power. This is more insidious. Republican at the time referred to The Republic controlled by the people. We have long pasted a Republic form of government that now views us as peasants and both parties supporting God's Will in fulfillment or fulfilling prophecy, be it through greed, corruption or Demonic lead leaders.
Our leadership that are true to God could be comfortably fit in a school bus.
Many administration's before Bush,Obama, Trump and Biden locked in America's fate of economic collapse by pushing our Fiat currency beyond debt based to saturation, our trajectory has been One World Government, Currency (Digital) and Protestant/Catholic/Islam apologist based religion.
I'm still surprised (but should not be) when Christian "Leaders " (most in name only) preach of a coming of America turning back to God and everything returning to normal or a red wave with Trump or a Trump mindset leader returning America to Great days of economic prosperity, World leadership ect. These that hold this hope are not tuned into World events, WORLDWIDE economic imminent collapse or even how America's economic engine works.

So, the general impression I’m getting from this new addition to DHS, is leftists are for it and conservatives are against it. I have to make the assumption that leftists are for it because it is currently being controlled by leftists who feel they would get to say what is disinformation or not. However, what will they say when a conservative President and Congress get in and they decide what is disinformation or not. As a relatively independent, I’d rather not have some bureaucratic group deciding what is true or not. Neither side has a strong track record of being correct on much.
