FYI: a week or so before Jan 6th, and based on projections of crowd attendance, the Chief of the Capitol Police personally delivered an appeal to the senate and house Masters of Arms requesting additional LE and/or NG troops. He said he was convinced he did not have the manpower to manage such a crowd - 25,000+ as it turned out.
The SOH and the SML denied the request. Some time after the event, the chief resigned.
Insulting someone's intelligence is not a crime, but if it was, you and the rest of the bottom feeding hypocrites in your camp should be hung from the nearest tree.
I respected Donald Trump as president,
I admired his fortitude, (still do)
I was very much pleased with what he managed to accomplish in spite of having to face the most vicious political assassination in American history.
I loved what he tried to do.

Trump's admin interfered in deploying assistance...period
Cognitive dysfunction would account for respecting and admiring anything about trump, his fortitude could only apply to his never ending stance about preventing any disclosures on what he and the administration were doing as whistleblowers kept coming out. Government is about transparency, and he shot that concept all to hell.
And the decency Biden shows starts to make up for the slimy mess trump was turning the country into, it was a banana republic with open shakedowns of foreign countries.
