Totally inappropriate application.
Those queers should have been told no. Many years earlier when their decision to mock God first happened, they should have been told no too.

It is church interfering in state. It’s not like they can go down the street and get a license. State is there for everyone.

The weirdo couple can get married anywhere. Either the constitution is right or it’s dead. First amendment is first for a reason.

I believe that marriage was created for one man and one woman. But the rules and privileges that marriage provides are something that same sex couples feel they also deserve. Maybe they do and maybe they don't. But if they do, why not a separate entity called LGBTQarriage or some other queer name, with equal benefits of marriage, but called something different. Then issuing a LGBTQariage license would not be issuing a marriage license. If they want a hundred different names for how they view themselves, why not different names for their cohabiting arrangements.

And leave the Christians alone. We know most of those lawsuits are just hate filled money grabs and they never go after Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Budhists, etc. It is just cheap hate filled faggotry run amok.

Compared to all of the well documented instances of the state interfering with the church, a county clerk refusing to issue marriage licenses is a nothingburger.

You gotta ask yourself why these militant faggots singled out Christian owned businesses as opposed to spending their money at any other business, even Jewish or Muslim owned businesses?

LGBT Activists Hate Christianity — and Want to Destroy It
You also have to ask why these activists are getting so much encouragement, support and even active participation from leftists and democrat politicians.

Christian Couple Forced to Close Bakery Due to Gay Activism May Face Over $150K in Damages
After declining to bake the weddig cake for the same-sex wedding ceremony, the Kleins eventually had legal efforts launched against them, as a complaint filed in the Oregon's Bureau of Labor and Industries was made arguing that they violated the civil rights of the lesbian couple.

Christian Charity Loses Access to Banking After LGBT Activists Campaign

Christian Businesses Targeted Over Refusal to Serve Gay Weddings
A bistro and art gallery in Iowa was the target of a discrimination charge from angry homosexuals after the owners of the business refused to accommodate a pair of gay men who wanted to use the facility for their “wedding” ceremony.
The gay men, identified as Lee and Jared, filed a complaint with the Iowa Civil Rights Commission, which deals with possible violations of the state’s anti-discrimination measure.

Washington State’s attorney general, Bob Ferguson, filed a discrimination lawsuit against elderly florist Barronelle Stutzman, owner of Arlene’s Flowers in Richland, Washington, after Stutzman graciously declined the business of a homosexual man who wanted her to provide the floral arrangements for his same-sex marriage.

Perhaps the most notorious and potentially far-reaching attack against Christian business owners who decided to follow conscience over “law” has been the New Mexico Supreme Court’s August 22 ruling that Christian photographers Elaine and Jonathan Huguenin, owners of Elane Photography, had discriminated against two lesbians when they declined to provide the photography for their same-sex ritual.

GoFundMe Removes Christian Grandma-Florist Barronelle Stutzman's Fundraising Page; 2nd Christian Business Facing 'Ruin' Removed From Site This Week
Arlene's Flowers in Richland, Washington, Barronelle Stutzman owner, was ruled guilty of violating the state's anti-discrimination ordinance in late March, and was ordered to pay a fine of $1,001 and is also liable for paying court costs and legal fees incurred by the same-sex couple.

Waggoner and the rest of Stutzman's legal team filed an appeal of the Benton County Superior Court's guilty ruling on Monday. Stutzman's legal battle, which has gone on since 2013 when the state's attorney general's office first filed a lawsuit against her, will continue. Additionally, the gay couple filed a separate lawsuit against Stutzman and are being represented by the American Civil Liberties Union.

"The message that the attorney general and the ACLU have sent to the people of Washington in these two lawsuits is quite clear: surrender your religious liberty and freedom of speech, or face personal and professional ruin.

Every right has limitations.

Well maybe they could call their marriage license a "Faggotry Certificate" and we could all agree on that label. The cake makers can be making wedding cakes with 2 men humping each other and the cake would be for the "faggotry marriage" and everyone would be happy.
