Pursuit of happiness..... and success "liberty" freedom from the oppression of the world, of the wicked, and of "poverty" both of finance, as well as poverty of the soul,,, which you are exhibiting now,,

Ecclesiastes 3:12-13

I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God's gift to man.

Psalm 1:1-6
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;

John 14:1

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.

Psalm 34:8
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!

"your trouble" with inalienable rights given by god, is that you truly don't believe in him,, you taint your scripture, with your wordly views,,, you have to purge the worldly word,,,, knowing who the prince of this world is, all your works then are "filthy rags"

Christians are citizens of heaven period. What is their purpose on earth, according to scripture? To promote the kingdom of heaven, whatever the personal cost. To become as little children. To do good works. To love as Christ loved. Rights are nowhere in there.

No,,,, your attack on Christianity, and inalienable rights under god, was the attack...

You aren't being attacked, you attacked, and are being a typical hornhead, to defend your lack of belief,,,,

you are insulting, you make adhominem attacks and then pretend offense and becry being insulted...

What good will biblical proof do, when you don't believe in it anyway??? Your doctrine, is not scriptural, it is Marxist or something else, that struck a chord with you,,, you need to turn away from the garbage in your doctrine of belief...

Rights bestowed by god:

Galatians 5:1

For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

Hebrews 11:1-40

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts. And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks. By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God.

2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Romans 13:1
For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.

Psalm 32:9
Be not like a horse or a mule, without understanding, which must be curbed with bit and bridle, or it will not stay near you.

What my Bible says for Ecclesiastes, 10; 1-5 is:

"Dead flies make the perfumer's sweet ointment turn rancid and ferment; to can a little folly make wisdom lose its worth. The mind of the wise man faces right, but the mind of the fool faces left. Even when he walks along the road, the fool shows no sense and calls everyone else a fool. If your ruler breaks out in anger against you, do not resign your post; submission makes amends for great mistakes. There is an evil that I have observed here under the sun, an error for which a ruler is responsible: the fool given high office, but the great and rich and humble post. "

Stupid is not a word that translate in ancient Hebrew or Greek.

As far as "God given rights not scriptural" it depends on whether one is talking Old Testament or New Testament.

the first four books of the OT is the Torah, literally the law, much like the Koran, a blueprint for spiritual and civil society.

The New Testament has nothing to do with civil society. It is purely about spiritual matters. "Not of this world" is how Jesus Christ stated it.

"Natural Laws" spoke of by the Founding Fathers were as much a product of the Enlightenment as they were of the New Testament.

There is little, if anything, in the NT that speaks about how civil society should be run. It all has to do with your soul, not your body, The Father's world, not the temporal.

PS:

the terms "left" and "right" in the political sense, date to the late 18th Century in the French Assembly.

The opponents of the king and the status quo-the liberals- sat to the left of the speaker's podium while the supporters of the king and the status quo, or the conservatives, sat on the right.

source: Oxford Dictionary of Political Language.

Both the right and left hands of God are holy places. Any such language in the Bible doesn't point to political leaning.

The New American Standard translation most certainly does use the word "stupid"

I use King James or Oxford translations. "stupid" means fool, so I guess it's the same. It just doesn't seem to fit after 65 years of the King James translation.

Watch vehole. He insults as soon as you disagree.

And get this-he claims to have been a "foot soldier" in the marines, gotten out, gone to medical school, built a "successful medical practice before going back to the marines to be trained as a fixed wing and helicopter pilot where he said he served "all my time on the front lines."

Does that sound like a bs story or what?

Wouldn't even bother asking him how he did this until he started claiming, in the most insulting way possible, that I wasn't drafted into the marines, gone to Vietnam (1968-69,) and received a commendation for valor during my tour. He hammered away until I suggested putting it before the Marine League to act as a third party. And he won't go for it.

This was after calling me a drunkard, drug addict and "old man with cobwebs in his brain" the last almost true.

Remember, if you disagree with I'm, you're likely to get the same treatment.

How can you use a "political dictionary"to define Scripture?
The New International version of the Bible most certainly does use the word"stupid" whereas the New American Standard does not.
If you were to look in Strongs complete Hebrew and Greek-English dictionary of Old and New Testament words you would find these words used in translation of the word FOOL.
FOOL: silly, stupid, impious, heedless, moral blockhead,to be insane.
FOOLISH: brutishness, stupidity, to boast, moral wickidness, crime, unintelligent , senseless, dull, ignorant, egotistic, to become insipid.
Now as to your statement that the Scripture only deals with the soul and not civil matters, I believe you may want to read a bit more Scripture both Old and New Testament.

No, he doesnt have anything to worry about,,, just liars who claim they won a Silver Star for valor,,,which is "provable."
Silver stars are public record, and I pulled ALL of them, as well as a FOIA request for the 9th Marines during the time you were in....that is why I dont need your citation, which has now changed from a silver star to a commendation for valor,,,,

Here is the rest, he can decide:
Your quotes: You have stated before:
"I was in the 1/9, Walking Dead (First Battalion 9th Marines)"

"I was wounded in the A Shau Valley in February 1969 where the 9th marines attacked, took every objective we were ordered to and left it for the NVA to re-occupy within weeks, if not days. I still have less than full function of my left hand and shrapnel in my left arm and body from where a Chinese potato masher grenade landed near me and my platoon leader and I attempted to throw it back. I also have a Silver Star for that act of of desperate survival instinct."

"Even Dennis knows how to make a point-he corrected me on what year Vietnam had the most KIAs, albeit with an insult thrown in for good measure. . I was only there for a little less than two months in 1969 so I guess it was a mistake to think it was as bad the entire 12. Thanks Dennis. "

You told a story about getting a Silver Star for saving your commander from a grenade in the fighting hole you were in, during the A-shau Valley campaign with the 9th marines,,,, I pulled the Operations Sitrep, and all the Silver star Citations for that time, in fact all of the citations, for Vietnam, describing your "purported action" and you cannot select which redacted citation is yours,,,, the end.

Here they are again,,, your old quotes, and the citations, just pick which one is you,,,,,,,,,.

You claimed to be in the 1st Battalion 9th marines, That is VERY SPECIFIC,, in the A-shau valley, a fight in which casualties were horrific. The fight with the 9th marines in the ashau valley took place January 22 through March 18, 1969, so if you were wounded and only stayed a few months, you could have been there, could have done that.

I have reviewed "ALL" the Silver Star Citations for Vietnam,,, here are the only 7 describing action the likes of which you claim.

I'm not saying you didnt, but there is ZERO proof,,, and the story you laid out, would be provable. Either it didnt happen, or didnt happen the way you said,,either way, it isnt fair that you bust the nuts of other vets, when you have a checkered past.

I submitted a FOIA request and got the actual 1/9 After Action reports from the A-shau battle, and began to notice the holes in your story.

None of this would have been necessary, except for the abuse I have seen HF heap on younger, less experienced vets, but everyone, that encounters him gets the same, "something isnt right" gut reaction.

I started digging, and found the Walking Dead.org (what the First BN 9th Marines are called. They hunt down wannabes,, who build their reputations and sometimes careers, on lies of stolen valor.

Some of these awards, like the silver star, are illegal to wear, and I would assume that the reason the VA is short on money, as well as so many Veterans "benefits" are so scarce and hard to obtain is because of all the liars and charletons....Well,,, not quite true, but what is about you? A Silver star, not given for "just being there" there has to be conspicuous gallantry, like you describe,,, If, a Marine did as you claim, it was so noted in the citation, because that type of heroism is rare.

The fight with the 9th marines in the ashau valley took place January 22 through March 18, 1969, so if you were wounded and only stayed a few months, you could have been there, could have done that.

I have reviewed ALL the Silver Star Citations for Vietnam,,, here are the only 7 describing action the likes of which you claim.

Pick which one is you....names redacted for your sake,,, just pick which one is you..

XXXXXXXs unit was assigned the mission of aiding a Marine rifle company which was engaged with a numerically superior force of North Vietnamese Army Regulars. Disregarding his own safety, XXXXXXX unhesitatingly volunteered to lead a rescue detail forward of friendly lines to evacuate casualties and assist other Marines who were temporarily separated from their units. While maneuvering across the hazardous terrain, the rescue team came under increasingly heavy small-arms and automatic weapons fire and was forced to take cover in a nearby shell hole. As the Marines delivered effective return fire, an enemy hand grenade landed in the crater. Reacting instantly, XXXXXXX ignored the danger to himself, picked up the deadly grenade and threw it out of the crater where it exploded. Although painfully wounded by grenade fragments, he continued to direct his unit's return fire and, when superiority was gained, led his men in the search for casualties. After supervising the evacuation of several wounded comrades, he observed an enemy mortar delivering fire against Marine positions. Deploying his men, he skillfully led them against the hostile emplacement and quickly silenced the enemy mortar and a nearby machine gun position. Subsequently, he directed the withdrawal of his men to friendly lines and assisted in consolidating the defensive perimeter. His heroic and timely actions in the face of great personal danger were an inspiration to all who observed him and undoubtedly saved the lives of several fellow Marines. By his courage, outstanding professionalism and selfless devotion to duty, XXXXXXXX contributed significantly to the accomplishment of his unit's mission and upheld the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and of the United States Naval Service.

Maybe not to political leaning but it still speaks to the mindset of a man whether he is morally upright or just another STUPID person that insists on going his own way. Proverbs "there is a way that seems right to a man but in the end leads to death"
