How about this as a solution? All it would take is for Sleepy Joe to reverse his (brilliant) decision on cancellation of the XL pipeline. Think it will happen????

We don’t even need Canadian oil but Canadian oil is far better than oil from Russia, Iran, Venezuela and The Saudis all the while we send financial aid to our enemy. Take Texas up on their offer to pump the hell out of it and get us back to capacity and return to non-destructive energy and economic policies. Joe the Destroyer. FJB

And that distinction is important, WHY? Are we not talking GLOBAL OIL SUPPLY?

I'm sorry if I was nit picking about XL. I can't say whether the XL (phase IV) would make a difference.

Nationalize big oil and turn on the tap, the oil companies are limiting production.

Shale Oil get this back in operation 100% in Oil Production and the USA can have lower gas prices ! The higher gas prices will hurt everyone but the ones who are retired will be hurt the worse . Biden and the Democrats need wake up soon if not they will get the butts kicked out in space in Nov 8, 2022 !

No need to nationalize companies. Lift the restrictions and go back to the energy policies that were in effect during the last administration. The absolute last thing we need is more government and more government interference. Government is the cause of our problems.

What restrictions? Their are almost ten thousand active drilling leases that the oil companies are sitting on

Don't play dumb on us Kev, you are well aware of Biden's moratorium on new oil and gas drilling on federal lands, and his withdrawing approval for the Keystone XL oil pipeline are two major energy policy have had a major impact on production. Just look at the numbers and compare them to the previous 3 years when Trump was in office.

People's hearing things has to do with a perspective that reaches them, that they can relate to. Apparently the logic of vastly huge profit margins doesn't mean anything to people...the idea that if profit margins are growing at record levels there is no "need" to raise gas prices means nothing.

The price of gas and diesel has profound impacts on the economy as well as the finances of virtually every American

Was it fair for Pfizer and Moderna to make $65,000 per day for vaccines? Their earnings make the oil companies look like amateurs.

If asked, I’ll take time to explain my opinion to you but I won’t take time to give you information that’s readily available to everyone. Be informed. Don’t be so damn lazy and do your own research. Time is a non-renewable resource. I’m not spending mine on the likes of you.

Life is not "fair." I'll take the "fairness" of the private and middle-class sector over the false narrative "fairness" of the tax and spend unelected bureaucrats of the federal government sector any day.
