Can anyone explain the true reason as to why this administration is purposely destroying our energy independence?

The other day, Retired General Kellog had referred to Biden as a war time president (Lol), so why is Biden giving so much to our enemy? Im talking about the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, purchasing close to 700 million dollars of Russian dirty oil per day and then the closure of our own abilities to once again make our country energy independent as it was under President Trump. To me, all of this means that Biden and company are giving aid and comfort to our enemies. Seriously it is so in our face's obvious don't you all think? What say you?

Every one of your comments are exactly spot on!!!!! The left is not willing to do a gradual switch over to whatever might be the best way to go. Just like little children they want everything now which will be the death of the United States. Those that have been involved with this BS within our government and their lobbyists need to be completely rooted out to never ever again be in any position to make policy for this country! This goes all the way from our current education system to the Peoples House and everywhere in between. My thoughts.

It truly makes no sense to ask Venezuela to pick up the slack. First, this president says he wants to save the environment-yet the US causes less damage to that same environment in mining and refining oil than any nation on earth, and Venezuela does not even come close. So, environmentally it makes sense to drill here at home. I still wonder why Biden and his entire administration are hell bent on destroying this country. Why do they hate America so much? We are no where near ready to "go electric"-we have a good start, but it will not fully replace fossil fuels for years to come! Why do they lie and say it would take years to get Keystone done-it won't get done at all if we don't start! Who on earth voted for this bozo in the first place?
