The damn government and elected politicians who think they have some kind of a mandate stick their nose into everything. Eliminate crony capitalism, subsidies, price controls, tariffs, excessive over-regulation, progressive taxes in favor of flat-tax, big government, state education, etc, and allow the free market to operate. We should be encouraging competition among and between businesses, instead of shutting them down, especially the small businesses that had to quit during the pandemic, but we let the giants, i.e. Amazon, Walmart, etc, continue to operate and they made billions.
