The left is all about protecting/advancing/promoting it's narrative: ONLY they are compassionate/thoughtful. They publicly/frequently tell us "we know how you feel". ONLY they have the solutions to societies' problems, (keep in mind in was leftist ideals/policies that created the problems in the first place.)
And of course any who would deign to disagree are not simply wrong, (and have why they are wrong explained to them/anyone else who's interested,) they are portrayed as evil liars who purposefully want to deceive.


It isn't a matter of "waking up" for leftists. They are fully invested in/many positive of the narrative. After all they have been spoon-fed this propaganda daily for over a decade by a complicit media/greedy-power hungry tech oligarchs And now the narrative is not only cracking around the edges, but there are obvious/blatant tears and holes in the narrative where the truth CAN'T be covered-up, the mental incompetence/dementia/senility. And then there are the policies themselves. Obama isn't the first leftist president to try to move the country towards socialism/communism. But because of the "historic nature" of his presidency he was a good deal more successful. And Obama used race to divide the country and advance his leftist/socialist/Marxist/communist agenda. The rank corruption/abuse of power was almost effortless for Obama. And because he knew he would not be held accountable, he was able to inflict a great deal of damage to the country.
Then the left was sure Hillary would take power next and the U.S.A. would be finally "fundamentally transformed". It would no longer be a free society. It would be run by leftists/socialists/Marxists/communists/Nazis...there would be order. The 'right ' people/experts would make the decisions. And all dissent would be crushed, (for the good of the country, of course.)
It didn't/doesn't matter how corrupt/power hungry Obama was or how much his polices hurt the country...protecting the narrative was what was important.
Now we have dementia addled/senile/cognitive challenged/creepy/gropey/ Joe Biden...who before he became mentally incapacitated there are/were few politicians who were as greedy/corrupt/engaged in influence peddling, (bordering on treason,) as Joe Biden. Yet those on the left STILL defend/excuse/turn a blind eye to it ALL.
Because if only they are the good guys/those who can run things/you can turn to...how can it all be one disaster after another, not only domestically, but on the foreign stage as well.
So dementia addled/creepy/gropey/Communist China OWNED Joe Biden MUST be a "good guy...doing a good job."

Perhaps it is the right that needs to wake-up. It's all intentional
