Under Trump, gas was down to $1.25 a gallon. Under Slo Joe, it's at $3.18 and rising fast. Food prices are rising just as fast and lumber prices for fencing is almost too expensive to purchase. Slo joe is probably baby sitting Pete Buttplug's little baby and nursing that child too. Pete believes men can give milk to babies.

Under Trump, oil prices collapsed because demand collapsed. There was a time when oil companies had to pay to have their oil stored. You remember, right, that at one point futures were selling in the negative?

Yes, inflation is on the rise. But if your looking to politics to solve that issue, voting for Republicans is betting on the wrong horse. The current inflation is just a continuation of the massive transfer of wealth from the working to the upper class. Yes, it's class warfare....or, more accurately, business as usual. If you're looking for a fair shake for American workers, MAGA doesn't fit the bill.

I have my issues with the Democrats (who doesn't, especially on the national level?), but I see no evidence that the Trump Presidency did anything to stop the erosion working Americans' economic well being. The price of gas isn't Mr. 'President''s fault. Inflation is business as usual...the well off getting larger and larger portions of the American economic pie. It's no coincidence that American workers stopped gaining ground after the stagflation in the '70s.

The rise in gas prices started with the Colonial pipeline ransom ware attack and never stopped.

Oh, that might have been contributory but Biden did the rest. When the president of the most powerful country on the planet says he is shutting down oil and gas, you raise prices in anticipation of decreased revenue. As he implemented his actions against oil and gas, they responded likewise.

Why do you make excuses for him. It is undeniable. A previous meme was all too clear. Why ask OPEC to increase oil production to keep prices down when we have plenty here; more than OPEC!! The stupidity of the Biden anti-oil movement is unimaginable!!!!!

Yes, because Biden and his green new deal is planning on putting them out of business. Duh!!!! Someone decides to put you out of business, are you gonna lower prices as the end draws near??????? Knowing that the future could bring decreased profits and cash flow, one would naturally want to get as much out of the business and have cash to rebuild something else, would they not???????

They've had decades to do that. If they go out of business, someone will replace them, maybe better, ahh the circle of life.

There is no justification here, it is just common sense. You think they should just sacrifice their work for the good of man kind. It doesn't work that way, anywhere on the planet!

You don't get to dictate to others how they should take care of themselves and theirs. That is a leftist ideal and it will not be done!!

This is not a dictatorship yet, the president cannot dictate the free market of the oil industry, you guys push this scenario every time a democratic president gets into office, then we hear crickets during a republican administration. LOL Give me a break here. Ridiculous.

If they choose to go out of business, you are correct. But you, like moldyinthebrain, think they should just fold and go undeer simply because you want to get rid of gas and oil. As I said, that is a leftist ideal and it will not be done. The very second you leftists start dictating wwho folds and who succeeds, we have an end to freedom and prosperity and a return to the dark ages.
