I grew up in the frozen North. I do not know how many times i was splashed by sonwplows, probably at least once a year. The splashees should just get over it.

I don't believe he should be jailed or fired
He should be charged with wreckless driving, fined and lose his license for a year. From what I can see in the video the men's backs were turned away from the driver so how could he have known they were jews? I think he was just being a Richard.

The article says he works for waste management and was off duty. So I am unsure whether he was in a work vehicle or in his personal vehicle which has a snowplow attachment on it.

I bet they weren't intentional, mean-spirited splashes. I don't think people should "get over" that kind of assault....not from a county employee who is showing their biased colors.

Apparently that doesn't matter to his boss. He's now fired. I'm thinking it was the company's vehicle.

I disagree, and would jail the perps as I would for an attempted robbery or other serious crime. One must distinguish between motive and intent.. The conduct here seems clearly to be an assault with intent to injure which is a felony. Even assuming the motive was a prank and that the perps didn't mean to cause harm, the law judges them on their intent to set the harmful force in motion, and motive is irrelevant.

since it was a deliberate act yes they should be charged if they hadn't made the statement it could be considered an accident they incriminated themselves for a hate crime with their post there for it is a hate crime.

Those plows can scoop up large rocks and chunks of ice. If those men had scooped a 5+ lb. rock or ice chunk, they could have been seriously hurt or killed!

Did he snow them because they were Jews? Or because he was an a$$hole and would have done this to anyone walking down the street. Either way they were wrong and played a dangerous game, and shsould be handled accordingly.
