I have two people, one a relative and one who was a Marine corps buddy, that send me photos and Meme fairly often.. it seems to be the type of photo that gets on face book , but do not recall any origin mentioned by, I think the old Marine..

Now, thinking some more.. think the rock is located in south Asia, so maybe the Marine picked it up on other the facebook..

I was told once that you could post a photo on Google and find the origin. but never have tried it..

You won't necessarily find the origin, but you can find other places it is posted including the first place it appeared.

Right click on the photo and look at the options. One will include the word 'search'. Click that.

Now that truly frosts my butt... but I would say the guy that sent me the photo did not know its real origin either..

the article itself was interesting.. everyone knows we see many doctored photos.. but some are obvious and some I see not reason for changing the photo..

But good to see the truth..
