Ukraine has been a part of Russia since the 12th Century...
The Russian Empire considered Ukrainians (and Belarusians) to be ethnically Russian, and referred to them as "Little Russians". Until the end of World War I this view was only opposed by a small group of Ukrainian nationalists.
Kiev was the Capital of Russia until 1918 when the Bolsheviks moved it back to Moscow
It wasn't until the fall of the Soviet Union in 1992 that Ukraine began playing Russia, the European Union, and the US for what ever they could get.
The Ukraine is another Hellhole, like Afghanistan (20 years, $2 Trillion, and 2,400 American Soldiers) , that the US should stay away from.
Everyone should read up on the history of Russia/Ukraine relationship before supporting sending US troops into that Nightmare.

Biden is dumb enough to go in there, just to prove a point.
Bullies are never happy taking over just one country...
A lot of apologists here for a despotic Russian dictator, why do you think that is?

And, the blood will be on his hands.
I don't think Putin and his troops are too worried about the response from a miserable degenerate who has no freaking clue what a nation's armed forces true objective is and how that is achieved.
My real concern is the troops he would send over there.
I doubt if
FJB has ever heard of Von Clausewitz or Napoleon or Sun Tzu.

China is watching just what Biden will do... and already pushing the limit on their aggression towards Taiwan. Ole Feeble Joe might get us into a 2 front war with Russia and China.

IMO, That's what Trump was able to do....especially with a 'beefed up' miliarty. Now, that we're down $85 Billion worth from the last war.... I have friends on OPP who are already worried about their sons and daughters, with good reason.
Biden is playing diversion politics!
