When we are lied to for so long by so many with nothing but THEIR self-interest in mind, this is the resulting response

Apparently civics wasn’t taught in your school.
Going to class and learning anything is a lot different than just going to class isn't it Marty

It did and I went to class. What is your problem?
Okay, I’ll bite.
Our country is not a democracy.
It’s a Republic.
We elect representatives (people to represent us) to govern over us.
The electoral college is the example.
Each state has a certain number of voting delegates, and they are responsible for representing the will of that states actual voters.
It’s not based on population.
If we were a democracy then “majority wins” would replace the electoral college. NY and LA would determine the government.
Not fair and not what the founding fathers put in place.
They put a checks and balances system in, and corruption is mostly held back.
People who are corrupt are always looking for ways to get an advantage and sometimes do, for a season.
Eventually, all will balance out.
Pendulum swings both ways.

It'll just go right over his head !
I edited it, that will probably make it go even higher over his head.
[quote=Bad Bob]Only the ignorant trump cult doesn't know our republic is a democracy.
You’ve provided the proof yourself, we are not a democracy.
