Below is a link to one of the best pieces of sound engineering work I think I have ever seen. It is a composite audio/video of song whereby additional tracks were laid in by different singers and musicians from different places around the world. The finished product is tremendous!

The song itself is that classic standard "Stand By Me" originally released in 1955 by The Staple Singers and released again in 1961 by the Drifters.

This composite version is a real toe tapper, so turn up the speaker volume and click on or copy the following link into your web browser and enjoy the music:

I really enjoyed this street version of the song. But, the original song was released by Ben E. King in 1961, I believe. Mr. King originally co-wrote it for the Drifters, who passed on recording it. He had been a part-time member of the group. He later left the group and cut it, himself...and it became one of the greatest hits of all time!

The 1955 release by The Staple Singers...'Stand By Me', was a gospel song...different and apart from Ben E. King's rock 'n roll classic released in 1961.
