The vaccines don't work like vaccines, and apparently they won't any time soon.
Testing is the answer. But your tax dollars continue to flow to useless shots.
If we spent the money on Testing, and disseminated the information to the industrial complex, we'd have rapid testing in every 7-11.
You test and go to school if cleared
You test and go to work if cleared
If not, you stay home.
Another weapon that actually works is UV light technology... where is big push for an obvious winning weapon??

I don't think basking in the sun is going to stop the Omicron surge.
It would be nice if UV worked.
The schools do pool testing here. It doesn't seam to do much.
The vaccines aren't the dismal falure you claim them to be. Coronavirus vaccines usually prevents severe infection in the vaccinated. As far as we know now, the breakthrough rate is between 20% and 30%. The case transmission rate is as bad as measles. That means everyone will be exposed to Omicron by spring.
So the only thing we need to do is prepare for the onslaught
Get enough sleep. Your body does most of its repairs when you are sleeping. Wear a paper mask indoors outside your home, so you don't inhale a lot of viral particles. This means you have a better chance of fighting off an infection. Eat right. You need all those vitamins and minerals in veggies to stay healthy. Get a vaccine. It may not work as well as it did against Delta, but you won't end up in the ICU. Isn't that the point?

The point is, you don't have a good understanding of what I'm talking about.
I'm talking about UVC technology that's been in operating rooms for years. Not sunshine.
And I'm talking about billions of testing kits for everyone, every day. At home, at work at school.
Some schools have already installed ultraviolet sanitizers.
And masks are only for sick people. Unless you have N51 or better, they do nothing after about 30 minutes at protection levels required to stop airborne virus. (The sick wear the mask to prevent droplets from going airborne).
LET'S GET IT TOGETHER! STOP THE INSANITY.
Look at the press devoted time to how the industrial complex gave us ventilators and masks. The weapons weren't the way to go. They are failing at killing covid. But we got them to the market pdq.

And the reality is that anti masker/vaxxer types don't want to know of they have Covid because it would mean they should stay at home even they they feel fine, even when they aren't feeling well, I have heard guys saying screw it, they can't afford to stay home because they don't feel well, if others care they can wear a mask or hide out at home.

There are no reasonable solutions because those who oppose them oppose every aspect of reasonableness.

When Trump was president the vaccine rush was bad, evil, politically motivated.

I get fried by UV rays everytime I sunbathe for for more than 15 minuits. The redness is caused by UV rays. The amount of UV rays in an operating room has not resulted in anything this bad for anyone I or any one I have ever known of having this UV treatment during an operation. So I conclude bathing in the sun gives me a much higher dose of UV radiation. Also UV radiation dose not penetrate very far into your body. UV can sanatize your skin. Covid particles have a half life of 90 seconds outdide in sunlight. Ths acording to Dr Berks of the CDC.
Give it up! Sunbathing doesn't cure Covid. As far as masks being only good for a short time, I will point to surgeons wearing them for hours. They don't change them because they work all the time during operations. I do agree with you about testing. A lot more testing would be very beneficial if people would take the results seriously and stay home when the test is positive, no matter how they feel.
