Ignorance is something that is nothing to be ashamed of, it simply means you do not know the facts or reality, it indicates it's a time to find out what the facts are, to do a bit of learning so as to not be ignorant. Truly intelligent and smart people have no problem acknowledging when they are ignorant about something.

Stupid people on the other hand, while being obviously and cluelessly ignorant, typically have no interest in figuring out what the facts are, they in fact prefer to being able to lean on being ignorant as an excuse, in their belief that if they don't know the facts it doesn't matter, all that matters is what they choose to believe based on limited and marginal lack of facts.

Call an ignorant person ignorant and they have no problem agreeing to that...call a stupid person ignorant and they will react because they heard you call them stupid. When a stupid person reacts and says they are not stupid...well actually yes they are stupid...they prove it by not wanting to learn the facts.

Ever occurr to you that maybe you're the closed minded one? Never seen you admit even 1 incident where a conservative may be right, maybe you have but I haven't seen it. That made me laugh out loud. Thanks...But we shouldn't be too hard on pigs, I hear they make great pets. I'm not sure I would know what to do with a 450 lb. "pet pig", but I understand they are smarter than dogs. Especially the ones who convinced someone they should be a pet
