No, I don't recall that, it is a favorite figment in trump lovers minds...why would Putin have ever feared trump when the idea of trump's shows of force came with 24 hour warnings so that $200 million worth of missiles killed no Russian ground support personnel that were not supposed to be at an airbase where chemical weapons were delivered from in the first place. And how could so many high tech missiles be fired on a base and do so little damage that it was back to operational status within days?
Oh, and there is trump delaying the delivery of the tank killer weapons the Ukraine was supposed to get from us that they needed to ward off Russian tank attacks, now that would have pissed Putin off to lose tanks from US weapons, so trump delayed it.

SGM, I have no such memory. Trump was Putin's lap dog. He never criticized Putin, and seemed to prefer the Russian dictator over our European allies. Biden has read Putin the riot act. Any invasion of Ukraine will result in crippling sanctions, and an increase in NATO troops in Eastern Europe. The only thing left is a declaration of war, which would mean the destruction of the US, Russia and Europe.
There may be a good reason for that. It may be because Trump has long wanted to build a Trump hotel in Moscow. It may be because Putin may have something on Trump, or it may be that Trump admires Putin, and is a Putin wannabe.

Yes and it is so simple that even the stupid ignorant should understand. As a buffer against a former enemy, NATO, continuously advancing unnecessarily towards Russia's borders. He has said, written guarantees, against further NATO expansion towards Russia, especially in Ukraine.
