There are several things I see that are wrong with the Catholic Church. One of them is the number of idols/statues in their church. You may not see them as idol, but I recall a verse of scripture about having "graven images" that angered God. The church preaches "purgatory" and there's no such thing in the Bible. My father-in-law was spitting mad when the priest told him that he would pray his brother out of "purgatory" for $5,000. The Catholic Church has always been about money. They would take a poor child's last coin, and they have. The foundation of the Catholic Church is St. Peter, not Jesus Christ. Peter was a stone, Jesus is the Rock. And that is mentioned elsewhere in the Old Testament. Who do they think they are when they declare a certain person a saint? I think Jesus has already determined who the Saints are and who will serve with Him. My mother and I laughed at my aunt's funeral. She was my mother's sister, and a Catholic. But the priest would say a few words, then take a gulp of wine, say a few words and take another gulp of wine. We just looked each other and started quietly laughing. I think that if Aunt Mary could've been at her own funeral, she would've laughed, too.

The 1st thing we do in our mass is sing of praises to God, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Then we repent, and asked our forgiveness of our sins. We pray for our country, and the people who suffer of pain and poverty. Then read the Gospel. The minister of the Liturgy reads the Scriptures. We sing and pray again. We pray to Jesus Christ, the focus of our celebration on Sundays. We pray the "Our Father", We pray the "Nicene Creed". Then the preparation for the Holy Communion, as mentioned in the NT.

Collections are voluntary. I donate myself via automatic deduction from my bank account. The church needs finances to keep it going. We also collect to help the poor, to help disaster events, the homeless around our country, and many charitable causes. It is voluntary. In 2018-19, our Church thru donations, built complex apartments for the homeless around the city. Homeless mothers with children were chosen first to have their home.

Simple Sam, I agree with your post. Jewish tradition and law says that converted Gentiles to Judaism are as much Jews as those that have a Jewish mother. I seem to remember that Moses' sister was stricken with a terrible disease for condemning Moses for taking a woman of color for a wife.
This business of saying that Jews worship Satan is pure nonsense. At best, Satan is a minor Biblical character in Judaism. The most important prayer in the Jewish faith is the Shema. It declares " Hear oh Israel, The Lord Is our G-d, the Lord is One". Perhaps the greatest Rabbi of Roman times was Rabbi Hillel. A pagan told him if he could teach all that Jews believe while standing on one foot, he would convert to the Jewish faith. Hillel answered that this was an easy task. He responded that he should do what is right, and believe in the one G-d.
The Torah is the most important holy book in Judaism. A portion of the Five Books of Moses is read on every Jewish Sabbath, with a portion of other books such as Kings or Judges on the same topic. I have never heard a single word of the Torah, or any other Holy books of the Jews call for worship of any deity other than G-d. In fact, the most important difference of the Jewish religion, and other religions that existed in ancient times is the worship of the one true G-d, and believing otherwise is as serious a sin that exists in Judaism.

What It Means to Be Baptized in the Holy Spirit

The baptism in the Holy Spirit is understood to be a second baptism, "in fire" or "power," spoken of by Jesus in Acts 1:8:

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

The gifts of the Holy Spirit that accompany the baptism in the Holy Spirit as seen in the first century believers (1 Corinthians 12:4-10; 1 Corinthians 12:28) include signs and wonders such as the message of wisdom, the message of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, miraculous powers, discerning of spirits, tongues and interpretation of tongues.

These gifts are given to God's people by the Holy Spirit for "the common good." 1 Corinthians 12:11 says the gifts are given according to God's sovereign will ("as he determines"). Ephesians 4:12 tells us these gifts are given to prepare God's people for service and for building up the body of Christ.

The Catholic Church, and myself, are against all those questions you were asking. Those issues do not belong to Catholics. Those who support those do not have God.

There are etiquettes required when attending mass. From 1917 to 1983, veils and hats for women are required. Not anymore. Men must never wear hat at church. After 1983, wearing veil and hat for women is optional. But wearing outfit for women or men must be decent and modest. Facing the Lord we must show respect and be at our best by wearing appropriate clothes. Traditional women can still wear hat
or veil. Sometimes, I do wear hat at mass, dark colored, and mostly black. Women wearing jeans are out of ethics. Just wear decent and clean clothes when facing the Lord.

There are steps followed to be a Catholic. First Baptism, then the Holy Communion, and then the Confirmation to be fully Catholic.

The history of the Catholic Church is complex. There are those who've given up. There are those who've desecrated the church's purpose. But if you follow the rules, you are in good hands and blessed.
