In the event you are unaware that insanity now encompasses the US Supreme Court, the Court ruled in 2020 with only three dissents that a person’s gender is self-declared and unrelated to biological fact. The consequences of the Supreme Court’s elevation of fiction over fact are now showing themselves.
A female middle school child declared herself to be male, but the school prevented her from using the boy’s locker room. A naked girl showering with naked males was not the school’s idea of family values. However, a local court in Blue Springs, Missouri (57,000 population) ruled that as the girl said she was a boy, she had to be believed. The school had singled her out on the basis of her female genitalia and ruled that she was female and not eligible for the boys’ locker room. This is a good example of what I mean when I say that in the US facts no longer matter. A country in which counterfactual claims take precedence over fact is a country soon to be bereft of scientific and technological capability.

Every kid in that school knew she was a girl who thought she was a boy. So I can't understand why using a unisex bathroom would be a problem. But even if it it, it is her problem.
There are also safety issues with a girl showering with a boy that are to be considered. Some boys wouldn't care what she thinks she it. It is what she is and naked in front of him, and who knows what he might think and do if they are ever alone. Or even gang rapes or gang bangs. She is still a girl first and foremost.
Also, real boys might object to having to shower in front of a girl. It isn't only girls who want privacy while showering or other bathroom issues. They should sue also. It seems as if that jury was handing out some real money, way in excess of what might be called for, IF, her complaints were legitimate. And they aren't.

No matter how ugly, a born female in a locker room shower with high school boys will get all of their attention, setting the stage for insults, groping, and rape.
