AOC Proves Her Idiocy Again And Democrats Are Turning On Her
Defunding the police and letting criminals go free isn’t working out as the left initially anticipated, and it shows. People like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) have been blasting racism and police misconduct as the source of the prison population. Still, we’re seeing a real-world example of what happens when you aren’t tough on crime.
On Fox and Friends, former New York assemblyman Dov Hikind said, “These crimes that are being committed, there are real victims out there.”
It’s easy to look at the massive smash and grabs and say, “they have insurance to pay for that, but it’s not that simple. Businesses did not receive the funds needed to rebuild following the Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots of 2020.”
Jay Kim, a property owner, was told it would cost $140,000 to haul away debris and said, “We were upset about that. We thought that was high. But we didn’t know how much demolition would cost at the time. The insurance would only cover $25,000 in damages.”
Hikind continued, “The bail reform she supports, in which criminals walk out before the police officer finishes the paperwork, is ridiculous, resulting in new victims. It’s entirely out of hand.”
Yes, the crime should fit the punishment. No, bail is not a form of punishment. However, you have to consider many things, such as prior history. Prior missed court dates, the severity of the crime, and the violent nature. All of those things factor into the bail amount that should be standard.
AOC said, “A lot of these allegations of organized retail theft are not panning out.”
What does she think the thieves are doing with the merchandise? They likely aren’t opening up their own Gucci store premises or online marketplace of an organized plan to commit theft.
Maybe some Democrat lawmakers should look up the law.
Even Hikind said, “Republicans are speaking out on this. Where are people from my Democratic Party? Are they blind? Maybe AOC is blind. She doesn’t see it.”
It’s just like 2020. The Democrats don’t care because they want to disrupt American life. They want to push a change in wealth and a socialist agenda. They want the streets to be ridden with criminals because they believe in the same ideology until they get their way.
Hikind’s best comment was saying, “She’s a hero to a lot of people. She is a disaster for the average American because of her policies and the causes she supports, as well as the fact that so many Democrats fear her and the radical left of the Democratic Party.”
