And have the lowest minimum wage.
Then goes on about the rapist.
>>>He is an illegal alien invader who leftists stopped from being deported five years ago.
>>>But back to the education thing. Money spent on education does not necessarily result in outcomes and minimum wages.. Two separate things. JJFlorio gets it. Giving more to education means nothing if it just goes to Public School Union teacher's pockets. They have no incentive to produce good students. And they don't. I'm from Chicago and they get a damn good wage and pension, etc. And the kids can't read, etc. at grade level. Minimum wages will go up when kids and those that failed public school outcomes, earn a higher wage by actually helping a company make more money, because they contribute more to the job and company. And that takes independent teachers with an incentive to teach better with higher wages for success. Unions breed mediocrity. Why work harder when you get the same salary no matter how well the kids learn. It is a give and take world. Unions and socialists ruin that and they take down all those around them. When you learn those basic facts, your education will open up and you might start seeing the real world for what it is and what works.

The majority of people want school choice for their children.
More people have realized, because of the pandemic, that the schools do not have the student's best interests in mind, and therefore more people, as a result, are home-schooling.
There are many excellent public school teachers who don't like or agree with their unions. School boards are promoting CRT such as Loudoun County, VA. The AG's son-in-law has a company that provides schools with CRT learning supplies. The AG along with the School Boards Association has declared war on parents who dare to speak up about their child's education. Charter school attendance would take off if there were more charter schools.
Parents want vouchers for their children so they can send them to a school of their choice, especially parents in the inner cities. The school boards, administrators, unions, and Government do everything to stifle their demands for quality education. Instead, they throw more and more money at the schools, especially during the pandemic when students were stuck at home. Billions of dollars went to school districts.
The federal government has no business interfering with states and their local public schools. The only federal colleges are the military academies. Have you noticed that universities are all either private or state-run institutions, not federal? There shouldn't even be a Dept. of Education.
Unfortunately, the people living in the worst areas, low-income inner cities have very little political clout when it comes to their local or state government. Until they speak up in mass and protest to their elected officials, nothing much will change.
Government should retract from the education business and let people have vouchers. Of course, it doesn't help that many states have to teach thousands and thousands of students for whom English is not their first language. Immigrants are flooding into the country who have no English skills, money, or job skills with which to support themselves and it is their children who will suffer the most at the hands of public schools. There are so many problems facing our country for too long because the progressives have been in control. The left creates most of the problems and then tells the voters that they must vote for them to fix the problem. And everything continues to get worse to the point that people feel overwhelmed by the problems we are facing. The leftists, progressives, and Marxists (read Democrats) love this because they thrive on chaos in our society and use it to convince people that the only solution is more and bigger government.
