Josh Hawley failed to explain why he thinks the AG Memo is about school board hearings. The memo reads in part: "....to ensure that there's an open line of communication to address threats, to address violence." Are you against taking measures to protect school personnel from criminal conduct by individuals using violence or threats of violence? https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2021/10/15/false-gop-claim-that-doj-is-spying-parents-school-board-meetings/

Why is the DoJ even involved in local issues such as this?

Simple - federal government flexing it's power and trying to intimidate anyone who is opposed.

Are you also against taking measures to protect school personnel from criminal conduct using violence or threats of violence? School Board Associations have asked help from the Federal Government amid violent incidents.https://www.cnn.com/2021/09/30/us/school-board-threats-violence/index.html

Not a bit - and that is another dishonest tactic of you ELWNJs - trying to imply something not even said.

It NOT the federal government's job to be investigating LOCAL crimes.

School Board Associations are concerned with the safety of its members. They have asked the federal government to get involved when threats of violence could be handled as violations of federal law protecting civil rights.

That's not true!! School boards want to be able to do whatever they please without interference from parents. There have been instances where the school board tried covering up the rape of two girls in the bathroom by a transgender. The father of one of the girls went to the school board and demanded to know why they were covering it up. They had that father, of one of the rape victims, arrested.

Conclusion:

The children in public schools need protection from the School Board!!

As I said - these items can be, and should be, handled at the local level. Threatening someone if not a federal issue.

So you say. I say it's the other way around. Trumped up news story. End justifies the means.
