Generally having nothing intelligent to respond to a topic with, their ire is focused on this someone they don't like. Having nothing intelligent to say generally carries forward to the caliber of their insults, which shows with particularly dimwitted and unimaginative levels of what they perceive as insulting.

To insult me you need to know something about me, throwing something that has nothing to do with reality is the first example of mental shortcomings.

Histrionic HCPs are preoccupied with being the center of attention and will often publicly criticize other people’s behavior (their Targets of Blame) in an effort to get sympathy and more attention. Knowing these patterns makes it easier to spot them, especially when this is combined with observing the four characteristics of HCPs at the top of this article.
