The person that you jumped in to defend is the person that wrote it on Knitting PARADISE and was reposted here……..Penelope Huckleberry who is kitty kitty here wrote it! My husband’s son went to rehab many years ago when he was 16. They treated the entire family, not just the patient. We went 3 times a week at night. We met a couple who’s son was also a patient. During the parents session one night they shared their story that the lady had been raped by three men in downtown Ft. Worth late one night when her car broke down.

Later when they realized that the rape resulted in her being pregnant they decided to keep the baby and keep it a secret. They had made the decision to tell their baby girl the truth. This young girl was absolutely beautiful, smart, sweet and she was a Daddy’s girl. It was a sad story but it was a beautiful story about love and the courage of this couple. It was such a testament to their faith.

A baby should never pay the price of a vicious rape. She was living proof! I believe that every baby is a gift of God. If a woman is unable to keep the baby emotionally because of the memory of the rape, she can give her baby up for adoption. There are always couples waiting to adopt an infant.
